A WAY OF LIFE...

How we experience and participate in the world reflects our sensitivity to that which is both unknown and familiar. The paradox that lives between the ordinary and the extraordinary can be found in the art forms that live inside our relationship with sound, our breath and communion (yoga).

Sound

Have you ever thought of yourself as a living instrument? Imagine that your bones, musculature, rhythm of your heartbeat, tone of your breath, and your vocal prowess are all architectural elements that create your unique sound.

And…sometimes we can go out of tune. Being human is a complicated story that we are living out in our everyday. One way to bring us back into a harmonic state is through sound. Sound can permeate through our cells and move the internal waters and structures of our organs into an elevated expression of homeostasis.

Sound is the origin of life, and by daring to adventure into the power of sound, a remembrance of self can emerge…in the beginning was the word…

Sound Meditations are available for individuals, private groups, events, and public classes.

"THE SUN OF TRUTH RISES IN THE HUMAN BEING AND ILLUMINATES THE WORLD WHEN THEY LIFT THEIR MIND FROM THE DARKNESS OF IGNORANCE AND SELFISHNESS INTO THE LIGHT OF WISDOM AND ALTRUISM."

Samael Aun Weor

Breath

Breath fuels us and is one of the many mysteries so often overlooked and under-utilized. Our first instant of waking life is initiated by the inhale, and similarly, our last moment upon this earth is graced by our exhale. Breath is the portal of birth and death, sunrise and sunset, day and night - every cycle of life. There isn’t a second that passes where breath is not vital to our organism, a true friend and reminder that we are never alone. Breath is a gift that we can share in yoga and in life. We can travel upon its wings to the inner landscapes of our psyche or we can forget it exists and continue as we always have, the choice is ours.

Individual or group sessions available.

Each session is approximately 75 minutes in length, and offered virtually.

yoga

Yoga goes beyond simply practicing on the mat, it embodies how we are in every moment. Each yoga session is an experience and an opportunity to appreciate the time to pause and cultivate self-care. It provides an opportunity to reflect deeply into why we do the things we do. Every season of life brings a new practice and new level of commitment, this is why yoga is a way of life - it transforms as you do.

My practice is inspired by the universal principles of alignment as well as the time of day, season and current moon cycle. My personal teaching style offers an intuitive journey through the heart, body, and mind utilizing the breath and energetic centers, the inner world, and the elements of earth, water, fire, air and space.

Individual or group sessions available.
